mSphereDirect

mSphereDirect a new path to publishing

Now Accepting Submissions!

mSphereDirect®

Submit your manuscript through mSphereDirect, a faster way to publish your science that puts you in control.

You choose your own reviewers, get their feedback, and then submit your final manuscript to mSphere either through bioRxiv as a preprint or directly to the journal. Your paper is then vetted by the mSphere Senior Editors, and you’ll know their decision within 5 days. There will be no requests for further experiments or revisions. That’s it — your accepted paper will be published within a month.

If you are working on or recently completed a manuscript, please consider submitting via mSphereDirect, the pathway that puts you in control.

  • Rapid Publication of your work in an open-access, pan-microbial sciences journal.

5 Steps To Submit to mSphereDirect®

  • Step 1: Format your manuscript as a Research Article.
  • Step 2: Obtain reviews from at least two impartial reviewers using the mSphereDirect External Review Form.
  • Step 3: Revise the manuscript as necessary as suggested by the reviewers.
  • Step 4: Return to the original reviewers for their approval the final revised manuscript, the marked-up manuscript file showing the changes made, and the responses to the reviewers’ comments.
